Collage Artist Trading Cards Pack 7 Is Out Now!

Kasini House Artshop works with the Kolaj Magazine Artist Directory to produce curated packs of the Collage Artist Trading Cards. Each card is a full colour, 5.5” x 3.5” postcard with rounded corners. An example of an artist’s work is on the front of the card and the artist’s public contact information is on the back. Collage Artist Trading Cards come in packs of 15.

You can frame the cards you like as mini-prints; collect and curate your very own exhibition. You can also use the cards for discovering contemporary, fine art collage. We think they are a great way to be introduced to the artwork of collage artists.

Collage Artist Trading Cards are a fun way to enjoy collage and learn about artists. Pack Seven assembles a diverse collection of collage.

Adriana Bermúdez’s The Soul of Time expresses her illustrative style. The title of David Crunelle’s collage, Psychedelic Constructivism 04, describes the piece perfectly.

Barbara Hauzinger creates places she wishes she could see, where Cash Mattock’s collages reflect his intense and storied life history. Jean-François Poisson describes his collage practice as “scrapbooking for punks.” Najeebah Al-Ghadban describes herself as “an image-maker caught between scissors and paper.” SeanFuckingGammon “loves scissors, glue sticks, old books and magazines, junk mail, and his really sharp fucking knife.” Lisa Pijuan-Nomura draws on a 20-year-old collection of books and postcards that she has been collaging daily since 2007.

Carey Watters is a bookbinding, letterpress printer, collage artist whose work demonstrates a sense of craft and her ability to manipulate paper into three dimensions. Working mainly with paint and various site-specific found materials, Sara Willadsen explores concepts of abstract spaces and structures guided by her surroundings.

The images in Julie Henneberg’s collage are based on symbols and informed by ritual practice. Justin Angelos combines primitive and pop cultures in stories of life, death, loss and rebirth. Laurie Langford is concerned with overwriting the conventions of sexuality, domesticity, family, history and the body. "I have come to know art as the manifestation of an internal process,” says artist, feminist, and teacher Nina Dubois. Growing up, television was Shawn Marie Hardy’s favourite babysitter; a fact which shows up in her collage work.

The cover is a collage by Ric Kasini Kadour in which he refractures an etching by 18th century print maker Johann Elias Ridinger.
