"Berlin to Prague"

In "Berlin to Prague", Hovey presents a series of photographs taken while on a train from Berlin as it travels along the Elbe River, passing through Saxony via Dresden and through the cities of Wehlen and Pirna in “Saxon Switzerland” before crossing into the Czech Republic.
Hovey writes about "Berlin to Prague", “The romantic promise of the train ride--lush riverside landscapes dotted with Gothic castles--is answered with reality: the backyards of poor and middle-class Germans who happen to live by train tracks. My intention in showing these images is to underscore the reality and ultimately celebrate it.”
